A MISSION OF MERCY - EMERGENCY RESCUE FLIGHTS FOR 30 DOGS!

On March 12th & 13th Bark Avenue Foundation and Wings of Rescue will be transporting 30 dogs to rescue partners in Idaho and Montana where they’ll find their new forever homes.

Your donation will help us cover the following expenses: health assessment & certificates, medications (if needed), travel crates, and transport fees.

These dogs have been cared for by another rescue organization with many of these dogs waiting for their forever home since 2000. Unfortunately, the organization is struggling financially and will have no choice but to close their doors. Bark Avenue Foundation has been helping by providing food, medical, dog training, and transport for the animals while still in the rescue's care.

We have been able to arrange an emergency transport for 30 dogs this weekend to rescue partners, but it will cost Bark Avenue Foundation $8,400. We have a generous donor who is willing to match up to $4,000 in donations for this transport.

We only need to raise $4,400 to make this transport possible! Previous transports to rescue partners in Idaho and Montana have resulted in the animals being adopted in less than two weeks!

Please consider donating today...each donation brings us one step closer to saving these pups! There are no "small roles" in rescue. It takes a village and everyone involved is necessary to make all the pieces come together. We can’t thank you enough for your generosity, compassion, and love for these animals who want nothing more than to give us their unconditional love.

Your tax-deductible donations will go directly to support BAF’s Mission of Mercy – Emergency Rescue.

On March 13th Bark Avenue Foundation and Wings of Rescue transported 30 dogs to rescue partners in Idaho and Montana where they’ll find their new forever homes.

It was a very long day starting at 6:50 a.m. at Van Nuys Airport and not returning to Los Angeles until 8:30 p.m. Representatives from each of our rescue partners were anxiously waiting the arrival of these 30 pups. The dogs were truly excited to be one step closer to finding their new forever homes

Special thanks to everyone who helped to make this transport possible including: John Flores (iPittytheBull), Jason Sanford (generously donated fuel for our plane in Coeur d’Alene), Damian Cross (Pilot), Wings of Rescue, Panhandle Animal Shelter (Idaho), TRACS - Thompson River Animal Control Shelter (Montana), All Animals Rescue (Montana), and all of you who have so generously donated!

Your tax-deductible donations go directly to support BAF’s Mission of Mercy – Emergency Rescue.
