Healthcare for refugees and migrants on the border
How can you help respond to the thousands of refugees are currently detained, sheltered or trapped in the US Mexico Border Region?
As this humanitarian crisis continues to worsen, with many of these people lacking adequate access to medical and mental health care, our team of volunteers is collaborating with local community groups to be part of the solution.
Your tax-deductible contribution supports this work through our program, Flores de Juarez, a Community Health Project that has been providing affordable healthcare as a human right since 2011. Flores de Juarez serves refugees, immigrants, and community residents impacted by human rights abuses, violence and poverty in the US Mexico Border Region.

About the Project
Flores de Juarez is a project of Crossroads Community Supported Healthcare, a 501-C-3 non-profit organization whose mission is to make healthcare accessible and affordable to people of all income levels through the support of local communities. We do this through providing low-cost services, training health providers in cost-effective techniques, and helping underserved groups establish and sustain their own community supported health projects. Funds raised will go towards medical supplies, direct services and capacity building for aid workers.

Yesterday we helped out at the casa migrante on the border, where 400+ migrants are sheltered from rhwanda and cuba and guatemala and uganda and honduras, fleeing war and extortion and pistols pointed at their heads, crossing jungles over deserts and oceans leaving behind buried family, bringing with their babies in arms and holding a hope that the people of the US will remember that they and their ancestors too all came to the americas to find peace, that in our blood we are a people of hospitality and solidarity. Join in solidarity with our work by sharing about our GoFundMe Campaign. We are more than 1/2 way to our goal!
Today some of our community partners came to pick up donated supplies for their new community services offered for free in the border region. Your donations go to help them keep doing the good work they are doing, and support their efforts towards sustainability.
