The Barbarians Youth Rugby Club based in Wrentham, MA is a co-ed program dedicated to growing the game of rugby for all players from kindergarten through high school.
On June 30th we will host our annual Jamboree and we have invited all other youth teams that are a part of the Massachusetts Youth Rugby Organization (MRYO) throughout MA and RI to come and take part in our event. Last year 200 plus players and their supporters took to the Rice Complex fields. This year we have additional teams in attendance and expect a significant increase in players.
We take pride in hosting these clubs at no cost, enjoying the sport and celebrating the friendship and camaraderie that our players (and families) form from our common passion. Your donations will help offset the cost for food, referees, and field medics for our 2019 Jamboree. Goal: $1,000
Our longer-term goal is to purchase uprights for our home pitch at the Rice Complex. We do not currently have rugby uprights on any of our fields in Wrentham. The addition of the uprights will enhance the rugby experience, particularly for our high school team. Your donations will help us take a major step forward and ensure the future success of our club. Goal: $3,000
