#BANXLEUKAEMIA

On the 30th of August, a local Wycheproof family found themselves at Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital.
Single mum, Carly Parish and daughters Bethany and Bianca sat awaiting the results of hours of testing to deterime the high white blood cell count in Bianca.
Confirmation came through late in the afternoon that Bianca indeed was ill and the official diagnosis was LEUKAEMIA.

More than 3300 people are expected to be diagnosed with a form of leukaemia this year - equivalent to nine people every day. Leukaemia is a cancer that affects the blood and bone marrow where blood cells are made.

There are four main types of leukaemia:
Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL)
Acute myeloid leukaemia (AML)
Chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL)
Chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML)

Bianca has been diagnoised with the most common form for her age and is expected to remain at the RCH for the next 8 months whilst she battles the disease.

Having spent countless days and weeks in hospital ourselves, we know its not easy - mentally, physically and financially.
Please help us support them through this difficult time X
