Bangor Academy First Tech Challenge UK Finals

Bangor Bots have competed in FIRST Lego League for a number of years in W5. We have now been given the opportunity to be one of two schools in the island of Ireland to represent in the UK finals in Manchester. The object of the competition is based around a robot game. We have to design this robot fit for purpose using a mechanical kit given to us. This is a steep learning curve for us as it is far more advanced than the Lego robots we have been used to but we are learning so much!
Other schools in the UK have only the travelling costs within the mainland whereas we will have to fly over and stay a night as the competition is from early morning until evening. Therefore this will incur us more cost. 
Our team consists of a range of 10 pupils from Year 10 - Year 14 and 2 dedicated teachers.  We would love if you would be able to help fund us to be able to make it to this competition and represent the island of Ireland. Thank you very much!
