As citizens of a free nation, we know that one of our most fundamental rights is the right to use our own property to provide food for our familes.
Currently, all forms of agriculture are prohibited on most residential lots in West Chester, Ohio. This includes gardening and the keeping of backyard chickens.
Citizens have mandated through elections, petitions, speeches, emails, and zoning applications that Township Trustees change these rules. Yet our elected officials have continuously ignored our petitions and left these oppressive zoning laws in place.
Court action forcing them to restore our rights is the best response to officials who believe that we are here to serve them, rather than the other way around.
Please help fund legal action to restore basic property rights in West Chester, Ohio!
If just 50 people donate $20 each, we will reach our goal and be able to bring legal action against the township to protect our property rights.
