BackForty Outfitters is a local clothing company which originated in Red Lake and has since relocated to the Dryden/Vermillion Bay area. Our trademark motto, “Think Outside, No Box Required” is a testament to our fervent belief that we are truly blessed in North Western Ontario with the wonderful natural resources in our own back yard. Our clothing line is geared specifically to the outdoorsman, the men, women, boys and girls who fully appreciate that we live in an outdoorsman paradise. From our Ball Caps to our T-Shirts, Hoodies and soon to be released CampScrubs our clothing is durable, stylish and comfortable and all carry a positive message that states that the wearer is an outdoor sportsman.
At BackForty Outfitters we are not just selling clothes, we are promoting a lifestyle and we back this up by donating a portion of our profits back to youth programs that will teach our youth to enjoy the outdoors safely and responsibly.
“THINK OUTSIDE, NO BOX REQUIRED"
We are currently developing youth oriented programs aimed at instructing kids in archery, hunting, fishing and trapping, in a nutshell all facets of outdoor recreation. We will be also naming this project "Think Outside, No Box Required", our company slogan and also one of our best selling T-Shirts.
We have access to an indoor facility and also an outdoor facility which will require a lot of help with funding for setting up these locations to be safe and well equipped with everything we will need including construction costs, targets, backdrops, archery equipment and all other necessary equipment we will require. Our intent is to instruct our youth in responsible and safe archery, hunting, fishing and trapping using a mentoring program with hands on training and education for youth and also hosting youth events such as fishing tournaments, 3D archery shoots and more to come as we grow.
We need your help to make this happen !
We firmly believe that we have a responsibility and that is to instill in our youth a true appreciation of this wonderful gift that is bestowed upon us. We must never take our outdoors for granted, it is there for our enjoyment and we must ensure that it will be there for our future generations to enjoy.
Please keep us in mind and watch for further developments as we roll our programs forward. Also remember that by supporting BackForty Outfitters, you are supporting our area youth and ensuring that they develop a deep appreciation and respect for our outdoors.
We will be introducing a new product line in our clothing which will include our new “CampScrubs”. In a recent test market, these all around outdoor lounge/everything else pants designed for the outdoorsman have shown that they are a “must have” item for all !
