Backpack 2 Success

On August 12th, Indivisible Gainesville will be co-hosting Backpack 2 Success with Black Men United and the UF Chapter of Ladies. This event will be a way for us to serve our community and meet the residents of the surrounding neighborhoods to learn how they feel their community can be better represented by their elected officials. Many Gainesville families struggle with the cost of back to school supplies. To help reduce this burden, we will be giving away QUALITY backpacks with school supplies. While we have secured donations from local businesses, we would appreciate financial donations to ensure we have enough to go around. Any funds not spent on school supplies and our very low event costs will roll over entirely to our next service event.
