Back the Bradleys/Traveling Mercies

Traveling God’s world is one of the defining experiences of Brenda, Randall, Hannah, and Isaac Bradley’s life together. Their house is filled with artwork, photographs, table linens, nativity scenes, pottery, and other memorabilia from around the world. However, part of what makes these memories so special to them are the incredible people that the Bradleys have met throughout their journeys and the beautiful relationships they have formed along the way. On April 12, Brenda was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. While this news is heartbreaking, it means so much to the Bradley family that they are being lifted up in prayer all around the world each day (for more information about Brenda's medical journey, please visit: https://www.caringbridge.org/visit/brendabradley2).
Many people are asking how we can best support the Bradleys, and after talking with them about what feels most life-giving to them, some friends of the family have put together an account to collect donations to support the Bradleys in any of their upcoming travels.
It is the deep hope of the Bradley family to be able to travel to Kenya together this summer to visit their friends and ministry partners there. Additionally, they will have travel expenses for family and friends coming to see them in the coming days. Any amount of money you give toward this fund will be used at their discretion for these travel expenses and will support life-giving moments with friends and family from around the world.
There is a song that is dear to the Bradleys called “Traveling Mercies” by Kurt Kaiser. We have often sung it in worship at Calvary, and the Baylor Men’s Choir sings it at the end of every performance. Our deep prayer is that this fund will be “bread for the journey” and “strength for the fight” for the Bradley family. Your gifts will help to bring an abundance of traveling mercies for Brenda, Randall, Hannah, and Isaac in the days ahead.
