Yay!   We've made it to £5000.  This feels huge to us.  PREVENTION is the key, please have faith that this is the way ahead.  Knee jerk reactions to social emergencies such as knife crime, really fail to address the truly transformational social change required to resolve such deep seated issues.  PREVENTION and the long term approach is what WILL MAKE the vital difference we need in this world.

PLEASE help us sow the seeds of social change in the UK, rooting kindness, empathy and thoughtfulness in children.

When there is bullying or unkindness, outbursts of rage, fear, distress or withdrawal, every child suffers.

Babywatching was developed to address the question, “what can we do to help children actually feel and express genuine empathy and kindness towards others?"

It's deceptively simple, we help children watch an attuned, attached, loving relationship by watching a parent and their baby 'be' with each other.  We ask simple questions that enable children to understand what a good relationship looks like and find that children then replicate this in their own relationships, at home and at school.

The program has been proven to:
-      Reduce anxiety & aggression
-      Improve relationships & resilience
-      Increase self-awareness, empathy and self-regulation
-      Encourage language skills & confidence

We want every primary school in the UK to have Babywatching as part of their curriculum.  The training for teachers is good value but schools are fearful to invest in innovative ideas.  We want to be able to offer the training for free to schools and bursaries for the ongoing mentoring costs.  Currently, our present funding means we only have enough money until July 2019
