Thank you for taking the time to stop by this page and offer your love and prayers to the Goldman family!

Skylar's Story:
Skylar Phoenix Goldman was born via emergency C-section at West Hills Hospital on December 20th, 2016 at 9:25am. After almost 40 hours of labor, Skylar's heart rate dropped dramatically requiring an emergency C-section. The umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck preventing blood flow and oxygen during delivery.  Skylar was born without a heart rate and CPR was administered immediately. This complication caused significant brain trauma, including ongoing seizures. Skylar was airlifted from West Hills Hospital to Children's Hospital LA and is currently being cared for in the NICU by a team of specialists. Papa Goldie (Ryan) went with Skylar in the helicopter to CHLA while mama Lindsey remained at West Hills Hospital to recover from her surgery. Mom and dad were finally reunited 4 days later...

How you can help:
The length of Skylar's stay at Children's is unknown and with every day and test he goes through, medical bills and other costs are mounting for Ryan and Lindsey.  Please consider giving a financial gift in support of Skylar and his family to help them pay for medical bills, counseling, therapies, home help, etc.

Also, if you would like to drop off a meal at the Goldman's home, please click here to sign up for an available date.

Skylar's Progress:
Ryan and Lindsey will be sharing updates on Skylar's progress on their Facebook group page: Skylar's Story- Baby Skyler The Figher.

Thank you everybody for your continued support and prayers for Ryan, Lindsey and baby Skylar. They are overwhelmed and are forever grateful for everybody who has reached out. Ryan and Lindsey spend about 8-12 hours at the hospital daily tracking Skylar's progress. Since Skylar's birth, he has made strides every day, however, even with these small victories the road to recovery will be long and Skylar's prognosis is uncertain.
