Emilyana’s Hospital Fund

Emilyana was pregnant and carried 40 weeks a healthy baby boy. October 13 Her son passed during child birth. A week after delivery she began to get ill. Several times she had to go to the doctor and ER. The doctors found that the she had an infection from her uterus not being properly closed from the C-Section. After 3 surgeries and 3 weeks in the hospital Emilyana had stabilized. She did lose part of her colon, appendix, and ovaries because they were so infected.
She was released and came down with a fever. She has been back for over a week. The infection is built up again and they will have to do another procedure. Emilyana’s insurance runs out December 31 2018. This was created to help with the burial of her son but is now needed to help pay for her continued medical care. Please donate and help to cover the cost of the hospital bills.
Emilyana has spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now her birthday (Dec 28) in the hospital. She does not have the means to cover these expenses.

Off the ventilator and asleep. Doctors could not close us top layer because of infection.

The surgeons have found the cause of Emilyana’s infection. It was not her appendix. Her uterus had a whole in it from the C-Section that was performed. It caused an infection in her ovary, she had complained about pain on her side for weeks, and the infection fused to her colon, appendix, and all her organs. She has lost so much and still is fighting for her life in SICU. She has been in the hospital sin Thanksgiving and God providing will make it to Christmas. Please pray and share and donate to help her she needs it. -Update



She had to have another surgery because of issues with the infection and her organs. She is still under sedation after the surgery and will spend the night under sedation and on a ventilator so they can finish the operation Tomm. There is just too much infection. She will have to have parts of her organs removed. Please pray for her. -update

Emilyana is currently in ICU after an emergency surgery. Her appendix burst, she has had two blood transfusions, and is currently having difficulty breathing. -Update

It is with great sadness that I make this campaign. Saturday, October 13, 2018 our daughter after 4 hours of pushing and delivering her sons head was rushed from the maternity ward to surgery for an emergency C-Section. He did not survive the surgery. An explanation as to why he did not make it, when he was perfectly healthy still has not been given to us by Baylor Scott and White. All we can do is wait for the Hospital to complete their investigation as to what went wrong. We had a memorial service for him and we are trying to cope with this senseless loss. His passing leaves a giant space filled with silence where his coos and cries should be. The devastation of this sudden and tragic loss has left us, our daughter, Zeus's father, and all our family and friends heartbroken.
With an episiotomy and a c-section, the daily care of our daughter is our focus. With her care and all our grief this fund will help with expenses, memorial, and grief counseling.

For all our friends and long time customers we thank you for your support. We thank you for your prayers. We appreciate your understanding that during this time we will not be open at regular hours and it will take longer to provide you services because Jon will be working alone while I care for our daughter and other children.
