Baby Xavier's Medical Expenses

Donation protected
Our dear friends, Larisa and Bryan Stur, just found out that their precious unborn baby boy, Xavier, has 4 different heart defects that are putting his life in danger. The parents were asked multiple times to consider abortion, due to the severity of his condition. That is clearly not an option for these two loving parents, who have wanted him for years before he was even conceived.
As it stands now Xavier does not have the proper seperations in his heart to keep the oxygenated and deoxygenated blood seperate. This is very serious, as he will not be getting the necessary amounts of oxygen to his organs to function which has the potential to lead to organ failure as well as other complications.
In the first week after birth Xavier will need to begin a series of open heart surgeries in order to repair his heart so that is can be functional enough to have the energy to go about typical daily taskssuch as eating and passing bowel movements for a baby.
These surgeries will continue throughout Xavier's first years of life until the age of 4. There is a future option of a heart transplant but the medical staff is trying to avoid that at all costs but may be necessairy as time goes by.
Once Xavier is born he will be required to live at the hospital with constant oversight of doctors, on and off, until 8 months of age.
Some of his medical needs will be partially covered with insurance, but there are many more needs that will not be covered; including but not limited to a huge portion of expensive medicines, the hospital fees for the mother to stay with baby Xavier, continual lab work, and expensive monthly premiums and higher deductables. The parents live over an hour away from the hospital that Xavier needs to be at for appropriate oversight from doctors that specialize in his conditions, hence the need for hospital stay.
Due to Xavier's heart conditions even simple things like crying can cause him to receive less oxygenated blood that he desperatly needs. Since Xavier will need constant attention, much more than a typical infant, his mom, Larisa, will not be able to work for the foreseable future. Her income will be missed by their family for paying for bills and food and daily expenses. Her husband as well will be wanting to spend as much time with their son as possible, reducing their working hours will greatly reduce their income.
Please contribute whatever you can to help this baby to survive and thrive and to help reduce the financial burden, which is stressful, to his parents, so that they can focus their energy and efforts on their sweet baby, Xavier.

Prayer to St. Francis Xavier

Creator God
Inspired by the example of St. Francis,
We pray to you for the courage to be missionaries,
Reaching out and leading others to Jesus.
Like St. Francis
May we help those in need,
May we live a life rooted in prayer and
May we bring Christ to all those we meet.
This we ask through your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Amen.
