Baby Landon Fighting Leukemia

Dear friends, many of you know that Charlie and Veronika are that feareless couple that are always smiling and on the go.  They started their life together eight years ago and created a beautiful family.  They were just learning how to navigate the ups and downs of parenthood with three children under the age of 5.  This family was full of love and seemed unbreakable until the past couple of weeks when they received the worst news any parent can hear, "Your baby has Cancer." 

Baby Landon Lee age 3 1/2 was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia - An aggressive (fast-growing) type of leukemia (blood cancer) in which too many B-cell lymphoblasts (immature white blood cells) are found in the bone marrow and blood. It is the most common type of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Also called B-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia and precursor B-lymphoblastic leukemia.  They say he has a good chance of beating this but it's going to be a very long road and it will require a lof of treatment and sacrifice.  

We are going stay positive and we know that being that Spider Man is Landon's favorite super-hero that he is going to use his spidey tricks and kick cancer's ass!  He has started two rounds of chemo and after the first 36 days if he goes into remission, he will be into treatment for the next 3 years which includes chest port for administering the chemo and a spinal tap from time to time.  The only good news to date is that they tested his spine and it hasn't spread.  But we are far from out of the woods.

They are going to need A LOT of help!!  Charlie is one of our oldest and dearest friends and we want to do anything to help so I'm hoping that we can share this with you so we can help them pay for treatment and the pile of bills growing while they take time away to care for Landon.  They also have Zoe, who is almost 2 and Isabella who is just turning 5.  They are exhausted from sleeping in the hospital, they aren't eating, hardly sleeping and focusing on their day-to-day is going to be daunting, but they have to keep their home running for the sake of their family.
