Baby Ella's Medical Expenses

The beautiful little girl you see in this pic is Ella Marina Marshall. Ella was born on Aug 15, 2018 weighing 10lbs 6ozs and after a long stressful delivery for momma and baby, Ella was deemed a healthy beautiful baby girl. Ella completed her family or 4 with a very overjoyed mom, dad and big brother. On the 3rd night of Ella's life every moms worst nightmare came true. Tina was told Ella was having seizures and had to be taken to another hospital an hour away. The Drs soon realized that Ella had a stroke and was to be treated at the London hospital for sick kid's. Tina was still in hospital and to sick to travel to London to be with her baby girl. This for any mom is beyond comprehension to be apart from your newborn whos sick and not knowing if you will ever see your baby alive again. Ella underwent many tests and exams to determine what would come next. After a few days of observation and being regulated on her medication Ella was able to go home with her family. This in itself is a miracle and we are so greatful to God that she is doing well. The Drs have said Ella has brain damage and it has possibly affected her motor skills but they will not know forsure the extent of the damage until she gets at least 6 months. So this is where the next chapter of Ellas life begins. Right now Ella is a normal baby and with help of daily medication she hasn't had any more seizures. However life as they know it has changed a lot in the Marshall home. Right now Matt has to be off work because #1 Tina had a lot of complications during and after delivery. She is still recovering but can't fully take care of Ella and Liam their two year old on her own yet. Also Ella has many weekly appointments in London which means a lot of travel for mom and dad. We all know life can throw us curve balls and no one is ever prepared mentally or physically or financially. Most of us are just making ends meet and are sometimes struggling to do that. So when life throws a curve ball the stress of the circumstances is great enough but add a financial stress ontop of that and its very hard to bare. Thats where all of you come in. Tina and Matt have a lot of family and friends that have already helped in some big or small way. For this they are greatful.
