Baby Danger's Emergency Help Fund

On January 15th my wife Sofia and I were very lucky to give birth to our second born son and the final addition to our Davis family.  We named him Nathan Danger Davis and he was born naturally and such a good looking little guy that I couldn't take me eyes off of little Danger the whole first 24 hours he came home.  I watched his every movement closely as a proud father would and began to experience what every parents worst nightmare is with their newborn in their arms. I noticed my son began coming more and more uncomfortable and his poor little voice having what became sure signs of pain.  Exactly 24 hours of getting our son home we both watched him having movements of jerky nature set in matching the little voices of pain and it happened our son Nathan Danger clinched up and his rolled back he was having a seizure. A parent knows when something is terribly wrong and quickly rushed him into the ER in Manteca where a team did all they could to help as we watched with tears in shock. It was not long before the great staff from UCSF Childrens Hospital Oakland flew in to rush our son to their Oakland Hospital where they would have the proper Doctors and medical equipment to treat a 2 day old boy. They did an amazing amazing job jumping into action most likely preventing any extra damage and monitoring every movement in the NICU. The nuerological team did EEGs and MRIs along with other tests and after 10 long days diagnosed Danger with a rare condition where one side of his brain had devolped different then the other and that we would have an epiliptec son suffering tonic seizures where the whole body is a part of the seizure would be controlled with meds. This has been tradgic for our family and the costs have already forced us to sell our Tahoe for expenses just getting to UCSF Hospital and be able to eat and be by Nathan's side. It is against what my wife and believe to ask for help in life but we are desperate parents that unconditionally love our babies and will do anything to give them and in this case Nathan the very best chance to take all of the possible steps recommended to give our son a normal life. We ask from the bottom of our hearts please help our son Please share our son's story as much as possible Please pray for our son's life!
