Our family has an unexpected emergency, & we need to ask for financial help. Good loving vibes are needed, too!
On 8-24-18, Heather & Bret's Baby Boy was flown to UC Davis in Sacramento at only 1 week old, with concerns for his heart & lungs. They have done many, many tests on this wee babe, trying to figure out what is causing his enlarged heart & retractive, labored breathing. It seems there is a valve in his heart that is not shutting properly, & now they have concluded it is a larger problem than first thought. It will have to be fixed thru surgery. They are looking into other possible problems, also.
Except now Baby Boy has an infection, which they must first identify where it is & what it is, & give him antibiotics to clear that up before surgery can be performed. Mom & Dad are with Baby Boy, breastfeeding & taking care of him the best they can.
The problem is they have run out of money, & must pay cash for everything they need while staying at the hospital. They were told today that they will be there much longer than first expected. They are missing work daily, while the bills pile up & rent is coming due. Between Mom & Dad, they have 5 other children staying with other family members.
Baby Boy joined our large, loving family on 8/17/18, weighing a good 8 lbs7 oz. His mama & daddy, Heather & Bret, love him very much, as well as his 4 sisters & 1 brother, Cassidy, Maddie, Emily, Ella, & Xanderkhai. Not to mention, this loving Grammy, & a whole big family & community he has not yet met!
