Babson for Syria Medical Aid

$7.97 will provide medical treatment to one person in need. With $1,500, we as community can provide treatment to more than 190 people.
The Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) is a nonpolitical, nonprofit medical relief organization that is working on the front lines of crisis relief in Syria and neighboring countries to alleviate suffering and save lives. SAMS proudly provides medical care and treatment to every patient in need.
Today, April 26th, Babson College hosted an eye-opening event: ET&A in War-torn Syria, which was delivered by Dr. Mahmoud Hariri, a Syrian trauma surgeon and Harvard Medical School Risk fellow. At this event, Babson College students, faculty and affiliates learned about the Syrian crisis, with a special focus on healthcare and the tragedy of medical facilities being a target of the Assad regime.
Following the event, we need to take a collective action to show the message was recieved. My intent for this page is for it to be the first stepping stone for Babson students to be introduced to organizations that are reputable and secure. I hope this will encourage future charitable acts and help us to use our Babson education to reduce the impact of these tragedies.
The situation in Syria is urgent, especially following the gruesome chemical attack done by the Assad regime.
