Cancer fund for Jason Leduc

Donation protected
Hi My Name is Jason Leduc, age 36

After being off since February,8,2016 of shoulder and back pains,  going through serveral examinations like, Ultrasounds, Ct scans at Cornwall hostipal they noticed a dot on my left lower lube that sent me on my journey to the ottawa hospital for a Navigation session schedule for further testing such like Bloodwork, PFT, PET scan and a MRI, They scheduled me for a biopsy for the next day Unaware that everything i know would change in the next five Days waiting for a Phone call for the results but being called for an appointment to return March,30 to meet with a Chemo Doctor and a Radiation Doctor i knew it could not be good news.

The most life changing experience that not only changed my life but my Girlfriend,Family and Friends. On wednesday March, 30,2016 in Ottawa General Cancer Unit was when the doctor shut the door and said you have been dioagosed with Termanal Stage IV Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer and that i need to set up a will. And the stats are 1 year to live,  I could not believe what im hearing. Doctors tell me they can only treat me to live with less pain and that its to late because it  spreaded. That left me my father stepmother and girlfriend speachless and mind boggled. Just when everything seemed to be going good for me at work was just being promoted to Supervisor.  Something i worked so hard for and was so proud of  felt like i finally accomplish something to make my familly have a better life. and no more paycheck to paycheck. And a amazing boss that gave me the chance to succeed.  But i guess life throws you curve balls but i can hit back just got to pick up my bats fight stay strong.

Many don’t realize that the list of expenses for a cancer patients doesn’t only cover specific treatments, but everything from doctor visits and lab tests to hospital stays and home care, which can add up to tens of thousands of dollars.

Donations will be used for medical bills, medication , research in trials, transportation, personal bills that are piling up, Do to lost of income, Your Donations Will Be Greatly Appreciated.
