Save Blaze!

Meet Blaze, the newly tripoded cat! Blaze was dropped off at a fire station west of Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, August 1st in the morning. It was immediately apparent that she was hit by a car. Her chin was degloved and she was bleeding from the mouth. She also suffered from compound fractures in her left front paw. A firefighter who is allergic to cats and didn't want Blaze to be euthanized, took her to an animal clinic where she was told she needed to have her left leg amputated to survive. Blaze got her surgery today (8/1/17) but we need to raise at least $400 to cover the costs. Additional funds will be needed for on going medical care until she fully recovers.

Despite the life-altering injury, Blaze is an animated youngster with a fighting spirit! She's going to need a forever home that will give a special-needs kitty some extra TLC. Please help us raise the funds we need to cover her surgery! We'll post updates as soon as more news becomes available.
