Skylar's Courageous Journey

The ladies pictured above are the Vumback girls.Marilee (the mom) and I have been friends since 3rd grade. Mare is pictured with her 2 daughters, Skylar in the middle and Kyra on the left. They are a part of my family.
On September 18th their world changed. Skylar's world changed.
Skylar unknowingly had a malformation of the vessels of her brain and this ruptured (an aneurysm). Skylar was in a coma for a week. No promises were being made about her recovery. At this point Skylar was at Hartford Hospital.
Skylar is now at Gaylord Hospital where she is determined and courageous in her rehab.
Skylar has the support and encouragment of her loving parents Marilee and Tom. The Vumbacks's and the Sarrazin's have rallied along side Skylar!
But Medical insurance only covers so much. Her next phase of rehab is not covered by insurance.
