Please Help!
As most of you may know by now, Matt Collins was Recently diagnosed with leukemia! His parents, Tom and Sue are among my very best friends in the entire world, and Matt is their world... As they begin to except Matt's diagnosis, they are also confronted with life's daily struggles… Matt is at Dupont Hospital for children, where he will be for maybe another month... Matt spent his 10th birthday undergoing His first of many chemotherapy treatments, which has left him feeling very very sick, and weak... he is not his usual self… He is not the boy that was once filled with enormous amounts of energy...
Tom and Sue have no choice but to continue to go to work, which means one of them will be at work while the other stays at the hospital with Matt.. The only thing they can do to help Matt is to be there for him, and try to keep his spirits up.
This is a very emotional and trying time for both of them as well as their entire family.
Tom and Sue are both very humble, caring and devoted parents, filled with pride & they would never think to ask anyone for anything… But yet, they would be the first ones to help anyone in need!!!
All that I am asking is that, you donate anything that you can, no amount would be too small… And I am also asking that you say your prayers each and every day for Matt and his parents.
This is the only way that we can help them, they need to be able to pay their bills and take the time from work that they need to take to spend that valuable precious time with Matt... You cannot put a price on Tom and Sue having quality time with their son... That's exactly what Matt needs most right now!!
