Well hello gorgeous!
My name is Courtney Deelen and I am an Actor, Producer and Co-Director at DEELEN with TROUBLE Inc, a Toronto based production.
My husband and I created DwT so that we could tell the stories that we wanted to tell and so that we could support other emerging filmmakers by helping them produce thier projects.
HERstory is a short documentary about inspiring and empowering the next generation of young women.
I have been blessed to have SO MANY INCREDIBLE women in my life and this is my way of giving them a platform to tell thier stories.
We have an amazing team of women behind the scenes and have a phenomenal line up of women willing to give you a little glimpse into thier lives and the lessons they've picked up along the way.
Your donations will help us tell the best story we can in the best possible quality.
Your donation will go towards:
- Our studio rental.
- Camera and equipment rentals.
- Honorariums for our professional crew members.
- Post-production (editing and sound design).
It takes something extra to make a documentary becasue it's not easy. My team is going above and beyond for this film becasue they believe in it and I could't be more grateful.
The majority of the costs will be covered by myself, but any help above and beyond will increase the quaity of the project.
It's time fill the world with love.
It's time to put something positive and empowering into the universe.
It's time to honour our mothers, grandmothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, nieces, best frends and mentors ... it's time to tell HERstory.
