Displaced Family Of 5/Oil Spill

Hello family, friends and friends of friends. My name is Candice. My family and I are reaching out to you for help as a result of a very unfortunate event that occurred at our home on December 20th.
December 20th, a heating oil company delivered 102 gallons of heating oil to the wrong home.... our home. The delivery was meant for a neighbor. The oil was pumped in to our basement through an old, disconnected pipe located on the outside of our home. This resulted in all 102 gallons of oil to spill and sit on our century home's concrete/sandstone/dirt basement floor for hours, and eventually drain out through our sanitary drain. This has resulted in our home not being livable due to fumes and health and safety concerns.
Unfortunately, the oil company has not been as helpful as anyone would have thought, forcing us to seek legal help. In the mean time, we have been left without housing for weeks at a time and only provided housing for one week at a time, when it IS provided. We have not slept in our home since the spill, as it is unsafe to return. This has resulted in all of our holidays and our daughter's 5th birthday being spent in hotels, packing our cars week to week, and constantly moving from one place to another. We never really know where we are going to be from one week to the next. Our family has also had to give away 3 of our pets. We have 3 small children, ages 3, 5, and 6. All of our belongings, clothing and food were contaminated by fumes and chemical film. Staying true to Murphey's Law, when it rains, it pours. We are now down to one vehicle, as my transmission went on my 2010 SUV, just this last week.
Since we are still paying the mortgage/utilities on our home that we cannot live in, as well as utilities at some of the homes that were opened to us, your donation would provide a stable place for us and our children to stay for an extended period of time. As well as help with food, increased gas/commute prices and repairs on our remaining vehicle. Our family would like to thank you in advance, from the bottom of our hearts, for your compassion and generosity. We have given the rest up to the Lord and we pray that we are returned home soon.
