Keans’ Home damaged by AK earthquake
The small community of EagleRiver was hit hard by the 7.0M Alaska earthquake the morning of November 30, 2018. Bob and Electa Kean, and their son Kevin, were thankfully not home when the quake hit and were spared personal injury. Their home however, did not fare well. The Kean’s have significant structural damage and every room in the house has severe damage to the sheetrock. Everything that was on the walls, or in the cabinets, or in the refrigerator ended up on the floor and there are glass shards everywhere. The quake tore the furnace from the wall and damaged furniture. The family is trying to salvage whatever they can but the carnage is devastating. Insurance won't cover the damage to the home or the personal possessions. Everyone who knows the Kean’s know that they will push through this event together with love, strength and gratitude. We’re asking for your help to put their house back together so their lives can start to heal as well.+ Read More
