Kathy's Medical Fund

My sister Kathy and her partner Michelle have always dreamed of living somewhere with palm trees. However, it was very important to them that they stay near family and connected to a stable community while raising my nephew Michael. And so they did until Michael graduated from college last Spring. Then it was time to turn their attention to their dream. They started making plans to move from New England to Florida; leaving cold winters behind for palm trees and sunshine. Amidst their planning, Kath began to have signs that something wasn't right.

On January 13th, she was officially diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. The cancer was so invasive that surgery is not currently an option. Kath is in the process of an aggressive 6 week course of chemotherapy and radiation.

The next steps after this are not yet clear but there is inevitably a long road ahead. The financial impact of her treatment is significant. All money raised through this site will be used to off set the cost of bills associated with her care and any donations are appreciated.
