Lombok earthquake
Donation protected
As many have seen on the news, Ade’s village in Tanjung, Lombok was hit hard by the recent 7.0 earthquake. The death toll keeps rising and there is thousands injured and displaced from their homes in make shift camps. Our family survived the quake but are now huddled together with hundreds of other victims just North on the hillside. This area has yet to have seen any government or military assistance. Food and water have run out, the men in Ades family have to travel out of the camps daily to search for reasources. People are getting desperate and looting has already begun. What’s left of their belongings in their broken homes are being stolen. Hard times are ahead and I believe things will get worse before they get better. Ade is going to be returning home in a few weeks to be with his family and help. I imagine the process to rebuild will be a long one as everyone waits for the 200 plus aftershock quakes to stop. In the immediate time they will need help financially while they survive the camps, in the long term to rebuild. Ade will be stopping in Bali to grab supplies and head over. If anyone has anything to spare we hugely appreciate it. We can collect in person or on here. Please contact me if your able to help and would like to drop a donation off personally. If you are not in a position to help financially please share the link. Thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for the love, support and prayers we have received so far.
