B Strong Contest

As most of you know, my husband, Bryon Pritchett, was diagnosed with stage four gastric cancer last August at age 31. He went into full remission early this spring but only 2 short months later, scans showed it was making a comeback. Unfortunately, he is still unable to work due to his chemotherapy treatments.
Our friends held a benefit for us last fall and we are still so incredibly grateful for everyone who participated in helping make these events happen, plus all of the people who showed up to have a good time and help raise money for our little family of four. It’s hard to believe a year has gone by already, but since he’s still fighting the fight, I thought it might be time to start thinking about another fundraiser.
Any of you who know me, know that asking for money or for help in general doesn’t come easy for me. I thought it would be fun to put a twist on it this time and host the biggest contest I’ve ever held for my small business, The Healing Path (located in Marietta, Ohio).
So this is what I’ve come up with...
For every $10 donation made on this platform, your name will be entered in a drawing. So if you donate $50, you will get 5 entries. $100 = 10 entries, etc.
The grand prize?
1 YEAR OF FREE MASSAGES!!!!!
In greater detail, this means twelve FREE sixty minute massages (either Swedish or Deep Tissue). One massage per month for an entire year for the contest winner only. If you live out of town and win, you can choose ONE person to give the massages to. After that, massages cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged for gift certificates. The face value cannot be applied towards products. Contest starts on August 1st and ends at midnight on August 31st.
The winner will be announced on here, The Healing Path’s Facebook page, and Instagram on (our wedding anniversary), September 3rd. How fun! The winner will also be contacted by phone or direct message. All donations after August 31st will be just as appreciated as the ones before the cut off, but will not count towards this contest. The winner will be able to redeem their first one in September and they will all expire at the end of 2020. (This gives the winner a couple of extra months incase we need to reschedule a session or two. We all know that life happens sometimes.)
I set the goal for $5,000 because it wouldn’t let me set up an account without a goal. I have no idea how much money this will raise, but ALL donations will go towards the Pritchett family’s living expenses. (Food, bills, supplements and medicine that insurance doesn’t cover, etc.)
I want to thank you in advance if you took the time to read all of this. I want to thank you for making a donation and even if you can’t, I want to thank you for sharing this page with someone who might be interested in winning a year of free massages.
