Jessica Ditlevsons Journey to Recovery

On Sunday January 27th, Jess started to not feel well.  Thinking she needed a breath of fresh air, she went with  her boyfriend Jamie and her daughter Kaya to get something to eat for dinner in Byron.  Right as they arrived in Byron, Jess went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to St. Mary’s in Rochester MN. She went in for emergency surgery and is still sedated. The doctors said it was a spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) that caused the heart attack. Family and friends are waiting anxiously for her to wake up.  The future is still unknown but we want to make sure we can do everything we can to help her and her family.
