In Memory of Judith Henry & Denise R.

We are raising money to cover the burial expenses for Ms. Judith (Joy) Henry and her daughter, Ms. Denise (DJ) Rickman. Ms. Joy was a loving mother, devoted friend and an excellent cook. Dj was about to enter her senior year of high school at Mandarin High and was a great student year after year.

Tragically, their lives were taken on the morning of June 29, 2014 in their Westside home. As Ms. Joy's fiancé and step-son make arrangements to have their loved ones buried in Jamaica (Joy’s native country) they will need the help of the community to get them there.  The Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday July 9th at 1st Chronicles Baptist Church 2559 W 30th Street Jacksonville, FL 32209 Viewing at 10am and the Service to begin at Noon. In addition, DJ's Friends are holding a memorial service held in their honor on Wednesday, July 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the track at Jefferson Davis Middle School.
