Hello my name is Zoé Olaverri Méndez, I live in Guatemala. I was born with Down Syndrome and months ago I was diagnosed with an oncological diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML M7), which causes my immune system to mistakenly attack my blood platelets. I have started the treatment based on
chemotherapy.
My parents are trying to make the best decision, so as not to see me suffer and choose the best possible treatment, because I am allergic to some of the medications in the chemotherapy protocol, so they have had to send me to bring medicines from the United States , one of them being Pentamidine.
God knows that I have fought since the first day of my birth and with the help of all of you and by faith, I will go ahead of this new challenge in my life.

Hola mi nombre es Zoé Olaverri Méndez, vivo en Guatemala. Nací con Síndrome de Down y meses atrás fui diagnosticada con un diagnostico oncológico de Leucemia Mieloide Aguda (LMA M7), lo que hace que mi sistema inmunológico ataque por error mis plaquetas sanguíneas. He iniciado el tratamiento a base de
quimioterapia.
Mis padres están tratando de tomar la mejor decisión, para no verme sufrir y elegir el mejor tratamiento posible, debido a que soy alérgica a algunos de los medicamentos en el protocolo de quimioterapia, por lo que han tenido que mandar a traer medicamentos de Estados Unidos, siendo uno de ellos la Pentamidina.
Dios sabe que he luchado desde el primer día de mi nacimiento y con la ayuda de todos ustedes y por fé, saldré avante de este nuevo reto en mi vida.
