Aylla's Story.
This has been a very disheartening time for my little family and an incredibly difficult journey for my beautiful little girl and unfortunately her journey has only just begun. Soon after my little girl was born, is when this terrifying journey started. Aylla starting having seizures and infantile tremors but no one could tell us why. Little Aylla has been in and out of Wagga Base Hospital and Sydney Children's Hospital more times then we can count, these hospitals now feel like a second home to us. After multiple hospital and specialist visits we have finally got some results. My babygirl has been diagnosed with Stxbp1. This condition means she will suffer from multiple seizures, will have to be tube fed and will have serious motor skills problems for the rest of her life. Something a simple as smiling and sitting up will be incredibly difficult for little miss. Little things we all take for granted. Aylla has a long way to go but with the support and love off everyone, we are hoping that we will have our beautiful little girl for a long time to come. I am desperately in need of assistance. Every cent counts to Ayllas recovery. Her medications are going to cost nearly $300 a week and that's not including all of them or her specialist visits to and from Sydney, her machines we need so she is able to have her feeds and take her medicine or her oxygen machines and steroid injections that she desperately needs also. The only way we are able to administer her food and medications is through a feeding machine because Aylla is unable to drink or swallow on her on. This machine is over $3000. I am a very proud person who doesn't like hand outs but our little girl desperately needs every chance at life and in order for us to give her every fighting chance, we need as much assistance as we can get.
