大家好! My name is is Jade Mikalauskis and I am a sophomore at Marian Central Catholic High School. I have just recently been accepted by Junior State of America (JSA) Summer Program to study Mandarin, Chinese history, and International Diplomacy in Beijing. I am so excited to take on such a life changing opportunity!!
I have studied a little bit of Mandarin and read Chinese literature (in translation) for years. This is my only chance to learn about governments and diplomacy, which is what JSA is all about.
I am highly involved in my school: I am an honor student while also being a member of Student Council, Chess Team, Math Team, French Honors Society, S.M.A.R.T. Club, Writers' Society, and Gavel.
I am trying to raise a total of $10,000 to pay for my courses, airfare, visa support, medical and evacuation insurance housing, meals, textbooks, and more. This trip goes on for four weeks.
Any amount of donations would be greatly appreciated.
