A Voice For Students

The last time a student was elected to State College Borough Council, Princess Diana was still alive and Nixon had just begun impeachment hearings. I decided to run for Borough Council to bring a student voice back into local government. As a Borough Councilwoman, I want to dissolve the town and gown barrier so that students and community members can work together to achieve our common goal of making State College a better place for all residents. 
When I undertook this campaign, I did not realize how costly it was going to be. I am trying to collect donations so that I will be able to afford the literature and other tools needed to run a successful campaign. I am currently a full-time college student and don't necessarily have the resources I need to be able to effectively campaign. The Pennsylvania primary election is on May 16th. Please consider donating now so that I can have a successful primary campaign and continue onto the general in the fall.
