AVHS & VCHS Every Fifteen Minutes

Hello,
We are the student coordinators of the Every Fifteen Minute Program at Amador Valley High School and Vally Christian. EFM is an amazing program that offers real-life experience without the real-life risks. This emotionally charged program is designed to dramatically instill teenagers with the potentially dangerous consequences of drinking alcohol and texting while driving. It will challenge students to think about drinking, texting while driving, personal safety, and the responsibility of making mature decisions when lives are involved. The cost of this program is around $15,000 and we are normally given $10,000 to aid our program but unfortunately our budget has been cut this year, The money will be used to pay the film crew, makeup company, food for the student retreat, speakers, bleachers, programs, police department, coroner, etc. The program will take place in early 2017 so the funds will be accepted until then. This means so much to us and will mean so much to our school because of the importance of our program. This program saves lives and if you have loved ones that are teenagers, were teenagers or will be teenagers, you can understand how important their safety is. We will be so thankful for each donation because not only is it benefitting our school and community, but it is also benefitting our world. Every Fifteen Minutes someone dies from an alcohol related accident, and we hope that this program can show teens that they are not invincible.
