Supporting Avery Smith
Donation protected
Hi- my name is Caren Mulcunry, and I've been a friend of Caitlin since we double dated to the Mercy High School prom wearing the hottest early 90's fashions. We are godmothers to each other's children, and I can't remember an important event in my life that Caitlin has missed.
On April 26, Chris and Caitlin's 3 1/2-year-old daughter, Avery, was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL).
Miss Avery is an energetic, spunky, smart, funny little girl. She will be fighting for her life for at least the next 2.5 years as she completes the treatment necessary to cure her body and regain her health.
It is a daunting regimen of chemotherapy and other cancer fighting drugs, countless drives to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (an hour from home), and many sleepless nights for her loving and worried family. The emotional toll is something that we can not take away, but we can support them by helping to cover some of the financial weight of this diagnosis.
Chris, Caitlin, and Colin are incredibly grateful for all of the support they've been shown. Thank you very much for your generosity.
