Michael's Funeral Costs

I am not the type of person who likes to ask others for help. I have always been one to go out and do everything for myself and help everyone, including myself, in every way I can.
Unfortunately, I have finally hit a problem without an easy solution. My younger brother, Michael, was found unconscious and not breathing in his bed this morning. Sadly, he was pronounced dead shortly after. No matter what I do, nothing can bring him back. This is not only hard for me to accept, but is also producing an additional problem.
Funeral arrangements have been made today and they tally just short of $8,000. I come from a family with little means. In addition, Michael leaves his 2-year-old daughter, Adea, an orphan after her mother died last April.
We have scheduled the wake at Bryant Funeral Home (411 Old Town Rd, Setauket- East Setauket). Viewings are Friday, January 15th 2-4 and 7-9pm.
The money will strictly be used to pay these expenses, which we cannot afford to pay at this time. I would completely appreciate any penny or dollar that you could spare.
Michael is a man who never got to reach his full potential and now will never get to see his daughter grow up. I don't know how to fix it, but helping my parents with this burden feels like the least I could do.
