Avalon Park, Whistle for Safety’s mission is to put a safety whistle on the wrist of every child that walks, rides or plays in Avalon Park.
It’s an additional way to keep the children safe in our great community, a simple yet effective method for our kids to reach out for help if they need it.
100% of the money for this fund goes to the first order of 1000 whistles.
There was an incident recently and thanks to the fast thinking of the kids involved things turned out ok.
If enough kids have safety whistles and wear them it will deter attempted child abductions because the word will spread that in Avalon Park all the kids have a safety whistle and they can call attention to any suspicious behavior if they are in fear.
As a resident of Avalon Park with three children this is a very important campaign for me, if you live in Avalon or know a family who does please consider assisting in this important campaign to provide the kids in our community an additional line of defense against child abduction.
