Autism:Be Aware, Be Understanding.

Hello Family & friends,  My name is Ruby . yesterday my family & i received the worse news we could ever receive . My brother Rudy  Isaac Gonzales Also Known as BUBBA  had passed away.  Words could never express the pain & grief my family are feeling from this horrible tragedy. My brother just turned 19 years old in march . As some of you may know my brother is autistic , & also gets seizures . So some of you may know how autism is but for those of you who don't autism is a disorder that is characterized by difficulty in social interactions difficulties, communication challenges, & a tendency to engage in repetitive behaviors. on may 1st my brother took off walking around noon with no shoes , in his pajamas my mom was out running errands when my cousin called my mom she returned home & started searching for him , he was unable to be located . at around 4 pm we contacted the police . they came took our statements & they went and also looked for him . We then continued to search for him . with no luck we returned home around 2 am in hopes that the police had better luck. at about 4 am we got a knock at the door two officers come in and ask to see a picture of my brother , we kept asking why did you find him , they then showed us a photo of a man who turned out to be bubba . they told us he was hit by a car on air expressway , & that he was still breathing and he was getting transferred to arrowhead medical center . When we got to the hospital they didn't have him there . we called other hospitals he was at victor valley hospital . we then rush to get back up the hill. We get to the hospital were other family members met us there & they had took us all into a little room were they told us the devastating news . Bubba didn't make it . words will never express the pain my family and i are feeling . it still seems so unreal. All of you who knew Bubba knew that he wasn't the easiest person to talk to but if you had the patience with him he was the most amazing , sweet ,funny loving boy in the world . Rudy was loved by so many people , he touched so many hearts .This tragedy happened so unexpectedly so i wanted to ask for any donations anyone can give .  Please if you can help us out in anyway possible way.- anything will help and will be appreciated .
