Autism awareness in the classroom

Recently my son Kieran(diagnosed with asd) has been severely bullied at school. To the point where he has self harmed. This is due to his repetitive flapping. Children on the spectrum flap as a way to calm themselves when they have to much stimuli. We looked for a video that we may show his class to help them better understand why he needs to do this and there is nothing out there that we could find. One of the things being said to him is 'your flapping is killing my brain cells'. It's going to be a long year as even though the school did an excellent job of taking care of the situation they can't be there all the time and he is still getting harassed for it on the playground. Our goal is to make a video geared to children 7-13. Something that they can relate to and better understand. For Kierans class and hopefully other classrooms as well. Will post the video when we finish. Anything helps. There is a lot more than I knew that goes into making a video like this.
