Atom after Monchique Wildfire

As some of you know, in 2017 summer I left Berlin, to prepare the land for the family to move from Germany back to Portugal. We are a family with 3 kids (7,10,12) and I had moved to Monchique last year. We were part of a project on a land in Monchique, together with other neighbor families, to develop a permaculture land and space for retreats. 

On the Monchique Wild Fire, everything that was built, the whole land, was burned to ashes. We feel the support of all our friends, and we are creating this for everyone that manifested the wanting to support, to do it in which way they can.

We are several families who, together, worked in this forest in communion with nature. After the fire we are trying to recover what the fire destroyed - reforestation; restoration of water channels; plantations and everything that had been developed together; replenish solar panels; and conditions to restart this regeneration process.

The funds collected on this campaign will go to:

 Buying tents so that us and the volunteers can live there to rebuild our communal kitchen, dry toilet and other structures for guests and volunteers

Buying materials to work on the land and for the land.

Creating Water systems and land retentions, cutting  burned eucalyptus.

 Reforesting - Planting trees and creating a nursery for new trees
