The Atlanta Quilt Festival celebrates the art and joy of quilting each August in Atlanta Georgia. Most of the quilters are African-American, but all quilters are welcome. In addition to the quilt exhibit, the Atlanta Quilt Festival features lectures, quilt classes, quilt appraisals, doll making, a quilt market and children's activities. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
