Athena Zellers' Emergency Fund

My name is Nicole Steinbauer and I am from Mount Carmel, Pennsylvania. I have known the Zellers family, particularly Athena, for the past two years through dance classes, workshops, and company performances at the Karen Gronsky School of Dance located in Danville, PA. Our daughters have become friends through their love of dance.
On October 1st, Athena Zellers and her family were traveling back from a KGSD dance event in New York City. During the trip, the family was involved in a terrible car accident leaving Athena injured with a skull fracture in critical condition. During her hospitalization, her parents, Cheyenne and Russell, remained at her bedside. They have incured many unexpected expenses due to the accident.
Through the help of numerous generous individuals, the monetary contributions that have been donated will be used for the following:
* Athena's medical bills- to cover the costs not paid for by medical insurance.
* Household bills and expenses - both Cheyenne and Russell have been unable to work since October 1st until the present and their return to work is not in the foreseeable future as they will be home caring for Athena. They will need to use funds to pay utilities, household bills, and groceries.
* Care and comfort items: Cheyenne and Russell needed to purchase food, personal hygiene items and clothing while they stayed in the hospital to be at Athena's side.
* Gas: Cheyenne and Russell needed to travel to the hospital which is approximately 2 hours away from their home in Northumberland, PA. They will continue to travel to medical appointments with Athena.
Cheyenne and Russell have been designated as beneficiaries and have set up the proper information to have the funds withdrawn directly into their banking account. Cheyenne and Russell will be the only indivduals able to withdraw funds.
