My Story
Aloha! I'm Nicole, a young professional in Honolulu, Hawaii with a big heart and a passion for giving back to the world. I come from a strong, supportive family and am committed to living graciously and giving back as much as I can while I'm here.
Although I am very blessed, I've found myself in dark places and dark paths after I graduated college. I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, and struggled to come to terms with a what I considered a grim, dismal fate. I found myself with the wrong crowds and in the wrong places, and felt that I had lost the light and positvity that made me who I am.
It was only through my Faith that I was able to find the courage to find a good doctor and reogranize my life so I could live productively. Faith and my community gave me back the love, light and happiness that made me who I truly am.
My experience has led me to work in non-profits, volunteer, and live each day with kindess, compassion and grace.
How you can help
My past led to dedicate my time and career to serving others. In July 2017, I will be embarking on my first mission trip to serve unreached people in southern Nepal. This trip will involve critical service work and sharing God's love with the local peoples. I am nervous and excited to share my story, and how my faith completely turned my life around and broguht me back to the light. All contributions are truly and deeply appreciated! Even the smallest donation or just a simple share help greatly in my mission to build my faith and share God's love and light.
