Kortney - German Exchange Student

Kortney was accepted into the Rotary International Student Exchange Program and will be visiting Germany for a year. Her scheduled departure date is in late July and she is very excited!! She will have an amazing opportunity to study as a German student and learn much about German culture. This experience will also allow her to meet other students from around the world and develop life long relationships that will likely help to shape her future. This is an outstanding opportunity for her, and also a rather expensive one. We are hoping for some help from our family, friends, and community to help her raise some of the funds needed for her to take part in this Exchange Program.

I want to be an exchange student to get a new perspective on the world, to participate in new cultural and learning experiences, and to gain a new appreciation for the world around me. I will be going as an outbound exchange student to northern Germany and I am hoping to raise some money to offset the travel, program, and cost of living expenses for my trip .  This will truly be a once in a lifetime opportunity and I very much appreciate any donations."
