Ashland Town Park

Ashland,NY is a small hamlet located in the heart of the Catskill Mountains. We are developing a town park to enrich the quality of life for residents and visitors alike. Our park is situated in the heart of town and located on 14 acres, surrounded by the Catskills Mountains and beside the Batavia Kill Stream.
We currently have a 1/2 mile walking path, a playground, a multi purpose recreational field and have planted trees and placed benches throughout the park . In the winter an ice skating rink is available. We received a grant and our Pavillion is in, as well as the dog park which has separate areas for large and small dogs and has doggie deposit stations throughout park. Our park currently hosts an annual Farm and Machine Show, Tractor Pulls, Draft Horse pulls and a Winter Carnival.
We are now raising funds for a basketball court as well as bathrooms.
Our goal is to provide affordable recreational, physical and cultural opportunities for our residents and visitors.
