Asha's Leg Surgery

Donation protected
Asha is a gentle and loving 8 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy who recently came into the care of Home At Last Dog Rescue after being surrendered to a vet clinic.

Asha was brought into the clinic with a serious leg injury and was unable to walk on the leg. Not only was she in obvious pain, but she appeared malnourished as well. The vet determined Asha had a spiral fracture of her tibia, which required corrective surgery.

Asha's owner, who is a dog breeder, refused to pay for the surgery and instead requested that Asha be euthanized. The vet refused to euthanize her and ultimately the owner surrendered her to the clinic, who then reached out to Home At Last Dog Rescue for help.

Thanks to the wonderful team at Peace Arch Vet Clinic, Asha underwent orthopaedic surgery the very next day and is now on the road to recovery and to a better life!

Now that Asha is safe and sound, Home At Last is raising funds to pay for her surgery and vet care. Every donation helps tremendously and enables the rescue to continue helping animals in need like Asha. Please contribute what you can and share Asha's story widely!
