ASA Entrepreneurship Fundraiser - TEAM CHI CITY

Specialist Staffing Group (Real Life Sciences, Huxley, Progressive GE, and Computer Futures) is currently raising money for our global CSR, The African Science Academy (ASA).  Throughout the month of April, Real Life Sciences (Chicago) is pledging to raise a minimum of $1,000.  Your support would be much appreciated!  Please see below for information about ASA.

African Gifted Foundation opened the African Science Academy in 2016. ASA is boarding school in Ghana for 25 young women with outstanding math and science potential who study their exams for University over the course of one year.

The young women who attend the African Science Academy not only go on to study at top universities around the globe but aspire to use their STEM knowledge to change the world.

Every girl at ASA comes from a disadvantaged background and benefits from a fully funded education.

£80 funds a girl’s school uniform
£200 funds school books and science equipment
£1,800 provides healthy meals for a student
£6,000 funds the tuition fees of a student
£10,000 funds the full education of a student

African Gifted Foundation is a UK Registered Charity with the Charity Commission, charity no: 1133900.  African Gifted Foundation is also registered with The American Fund for Charities; enabling charitable giving to African Gifted Foundation by US donors without necessitating the establishment of a US 501(c)(3) partner organisation.
