I Got Attacked By A Raccoon :(

Hello!

My name is Aryan and I am 6 years old and I live in Elmwood Park, NJ.

As I was walking quietly to school with my mommy on Wednesday January 27th, a raccoon ran across the street, jumped on my back and knocked me over. He started biting and scratching my face. My mommy tried to pull him away but he was biting me so hard and wouldn't let go. 

My hero, Danny Walls, saw my mommy screaming for help and ran over to help me. He couldn't pull the raccoon away either and had to use a pole to beat him until he let go of my face. 

It was very scary. I had to go to the hospital and have surgery and get stitches on my face because the raccoon's bite and scratch marks were very deep. 

I am also underdoing treatment and getting rabies vaccinations because the raccoon was tested positive for rabies. 

I have had my first couple round of shots. It was really scary and some of them had to be given inside of my wounds, but I was very brave and didn't even cry! 

All of the money raised will go towards my hefty medical bills.

I want everyone to know that I am doing very well and thank you for thinking of me. I also want to thank Danny for being my hero and saving my life.
