Arty's Road to Recovery

Donation protected

May 15, 2017 my father was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident on his way to work.  He decided to take his Harley to work since it was so beautiful out but he was not expecting  what was about to happen that morning.  A dump truck pulled out across his path and unfortunatley my father went underneath the tandems.  He was rushed to the ER and has been in a coma ever since.  His injuries consist of broken; arm, ankles, knee, shin, pelvis, femur, ribs, sternum, tailbone and fractures on the spine.  Along with the multiple broken bones, he has pressure in his brain that has yet to go down.

His road to recovery is going to be very long and difficult.  The medical bills are putting a lot of stress on the family.

Please keep my father in your thoughts and prayers.
Any donations at this time are going to be very much appreciated and we are so grateful for everyone that helps.

A little bio on the type of man my father is.

Growing up, my dad had a very rough life, he practically raised himself.  When it was time for him to start his own family, he knew what type of father to be because he wanted to give his children the life that he did not have.  Struggling was not going to be an option for his children, so he struggled to make sure we had a proper education,  clothes on our backs and food on our plates.  If there was a need, my dad made sure that he would meet that need; giving up was never an option for him.  Once he was able to make his family financially stable, he was able to enjoy his life more and do the things that brought him peace.  Since his children are no longer very young, he was able to get back into his passion of classic vehicles and of course, motorcycles.  Riding his Harley was something that always brought him joy.  He was the man that showed up to any and every fund raiser, whether it was to donate or to help out, he made sure he made a difference because he knows how life throws everyone challenges.

Unfortunately, this tragic event happened to the most genuine, loving, and inspirational person you would ever meet.  He lived life to the fullest each and every day because he knew there was going to be a time when he would no longer be able to enjoy life.  That is the very reason why he always preached that life is too short to be unhappy, so enjoy the ride.
